Lake Tahoe and its
pristine alpine waters is a mere hours drive from The Lodge at
Whitehawk, but Lake Tahoe's traffic and congestion is a half century
away from the solitude of the beautiful Mohawk Valley. The Lodge
at Whitehawk is located six miles south of the charming old Mill
town of Graeagle.
In
the immediate area there are miles of mountain biking and hiking
trails where you can soak up the warm sun and fresh air on route
to your special outdoor picnic meal.
After lunch, you might visit the cool and inviting
waters of the Lakes Basin Recreational Area where you can enjoy
boat and shore fishing, horseback riding, hiking, exploring,
swimming, or water skiing.
Lodge At Whitehawk's 2008
season begins Friday, May 16th and ends on Sunday, October 12th,
2008 unless sufficient reservations are made to stay open throughout
the month.
